FAQ - After capturing a video or audio clip, where do I find it?

Serif Software > MoviePlus
Applies to: MoviePlus 4, 5, X3, X5

To find your captured file(s), follow the instructions below for your version of MoviePlus

MoviePlus 4
After capturing a clip, it will be placed in the MoviePlus folder in My Documents. To access this folder quickly, show the Explorer pane in MoviePlus and click the Capture Folder button at the top of the pane.

If you can't see your captured file(s) then the folder may have failed to update, in which case click the Refresh button at the top of the pane. Once you can see your captured file(s) in the Explorer pane, you can drag them onto the Timeline from there.

MoviePlus 5
After capturing a clip, it will be placed in the Media pane and this pane will be shown automatically to make it easier to find your captured clip. Clips can be dragged from the Media pane onto the Timeline.

Clips that you have captured during other projects which aren't already in your Media pane can be found from the Explorer pane using the instructions described above for MoviePlus 4.

MoviePlus X3
After capturing a clip, it will be placed in the current tab (Project or Library) of the Media pane and can be dragged from there onto the Timeline or Storyboard.
