How To - Send a confirmation email when a site visitor submits a form

To send a confirmation email to site visitors who complete a form on your website, follow these steps:
  1. Ensure there is an edit box (text field) on your form into which the site visitor will enter their email address. If required, see your WebPlus documentation for more information on how to achieve this.
  2. To edit the edit box properties:
    Double-click the edit box on the form
    or
    Right-click the edit box and choose Edit Form Edit Box
  3. Check the "SWR: Send confirmation email" option
  4. Click OK
Now when your site visitor fills in the form, a confirmation email will be sent to the email address that they enter into their box (i.e. to their own email address). This is in addition to the form submission that will be sent to the email address that you've set in the overall Form Properties.
