This article applies only to verified Canva Education and Nonprofit users accessing Affinity V2.
All Canva users, including Education and Nonprofit, can use Affinity by Canva for FREE
Once you’ve downloaded and installed your chosen Affinity V2 app(s), you’ll be prompted to sign in when launching the app for the first time:
- On the first sign-in prompt, select Sign in with Canva.
- Select Sign in with Canva again. You’ll be redirected to a page where you can authorise Affinity to access your Canva account.
- Select Allow. A pop-up window should appear on your browser.
- Select Open Affinity Designer 2.app (or other app). You should see a welcome message on the Affinity app.

Please note: If you're not seeing the Sign in with Canva button, please make sure you've downloaded and installed v2.5.5 or later of the Affinity apps. It will also not show for users located in China.
